The number of active customers rose to 27.

We Share Our Salaries and All Other Costs in Detail

For the first time, we are sharing not only our revenues but also all our costs in detail – including salaries.

Not surprisingly, salaries are the largest position at $5,000. They are followed by expenses for marketing ($946) and hosting ($748).

Hosting for Friendly Automate in the European Union (Germany)

For customers of Friendly Automate in the European Union we offer hosting in Germany as an alternative to hosting in Switzerland since August.

We have chosen Centron as our hosting partner. In the selection process we were convinced by their focus on excellent customer service:

Our service is our company philosophy [โ€ฆ] Our customers do not get stuck in a call center; out of conviction we afford the direct connection of the customer to the technicians.

Unfortunately, we have already experienced this quite differently with a large Swiss hosting provider.

In addition, Centron relies on 100% green electricity and maximum efficiency in the data center – this ethical aspect also appealed to us greatly.

In August, we operated a total of seven dedicated servers in Switzerland and Germany.

September Outlook: Innovations in Friendly Automate & Friendly Analytics

In August we made first tests with the new version 3 of Mautic, on which Friendly Automate is based. The current version 3.1 still has some critical bugs, so we are still waiting until the next update.

We expect to be able to upgrade the first customers to the new version in September. These customers will initially benefit from faster e-mail delivery for very large dispatch volumes.

Also in the pipeline is a completely redesigned email editor that will bring some long-awaited features, including an auto-save and undo function.

For Friendly Analytics we will invest in a new server infrastructure in Germany to provide reliable tracking for very high traffic sites in the EU.
