The challenge
Employers in Banking, the employers’ association for banks in Switzerland, previously used two different US tools for event registrations and newsletters. The functional scope of these systems no longer met the association’s current needs, and members’ contact data had to be managed across multiple platforms. In particular, however, data protection became a concrete problem: many banks blocked the US-based event registration forms for security reasons, which led to a high volume of manual support.
Unified tool, secure data storage
With Friendly Automate, Employers in Banking was able to replace the two existing tools and merge all processes into a single platform. David Frey, Head of Communications and Politics, was able to significantly simplify the previous communication processes and automate parts of them. David can now organize events and marketing campaigns more efficiently. Targeted training by Friendly made it easier for him to get started. As the data is now hosted in Switzerland, it is FADP & GDPR compliant and all forms provided are easily accessible for banks.

The implementation of Friendly Automate led to noticeable improvements in the day-to-day work at Employers in Banking. Internal processes were optimized, the newsletter design was modernized and event management was fully integrated. The centralized system, better delivery rates and strategic, automated campaigns have led to a lasting improvement in their digital communication.
