When I founded Friendly in February 2020, our name was already taken in all popular domain extensions.
Friendly.is was the best option among the still available domains at that time. I liked the combination of adjective + verb. However, the extension .is was unknown to some people and thus confusing.
In October 2020 I managed to acquire Friendly.ch. And today we switch to this domain!
Yes, Switzerland has a reputation for being high-priced. However, this does not apply to our software.
At the same time, Switzerland stands for numerous good qualities such as quality, reliability and confidentiality. As a Swiss company, we want to emphasize this with our new domain extension.
