Our CTO Joey Keller has taken on the important role of Product Team Lead at Mautic, the open source project behind Friendly Automate, from November 2024.
Joey has been working intensively with Mautic since 2020 and has been involved in the Mautic community for many years. In addition to his role as CTO at Friendly, he is currently already Assistant Team Lead at Mautic.
Since Joey discovered Mautic for a customer in 2018, he has been fascinated by the diverse and flexible possibilities of Mautic. In his new role as Product Team Lead, Joey will define the strategy for the further development of Mautic.
His tasks include identifying new functions, prioritizing bug fixes, coordinating development work and actively gathering feedback from marketers and companies.
Joey’s goal is to create a coherent and logical user experience, eliminate existing inconsistencies and further improve key features such as the email builder.
As Product Team Lead, he also plans to establish regular feedback rounds to address the most important concerns of marketers who work with the tool on a daily basis. As before, Joey will also be very active in the Mautic forums.
We are proud of Joey and are pleased that through his work for Mautic we can give something back to this open source project that is very important to us.
