Getting Closer to Profitability, More Revenue and a Major Update

We are nearing profitability again, our revenue rose above CHF 13’000 for the first time and Friendly Automate gets an important update: welcome to our Open Startup Report for June 2022.

This is what moved us in June:

Revenue up slightly, loss down massively

Our monthly recurring revenue (MRR) increased +2% in June to CHF 13’203 (~$13,727) This is our highest MRR to date and the tenth consecutive month of revenue growth.

Our one-time revenue from consulting was CHF 1,425 (~$1,482) in June, a slight decrease of -19%.

Our costs decreased by -13% to CHF 15’195 (~$15,663). Most of the decrease was due to the absence of the one-time costs for our team retreat in May. We also continued to save on advertising expenses.

As a result, our loss fell again massively by -79% to “only” CHF -567 (~ -$590). We are thus once again approaching profitability! A year ago, we already had a profitable month once. Our goal is to get into the black sustainably as soon as possible.

Once again for June we are sharing all of our costs including salaries. Here they are:

New at Friendly Automate: Custom Objects

We are working on a new version of Friendly Automate that will support Custom Objects in the CRM module for the first time. This means that in addition to the two existing entities Contacts and Companies, custom entities will be possible in the future.

This can be events, orders, product catalogs, and any other data type imaginable. This will greatly expand Friendly Automate’s capabilities as a CRM.

We will roll out the new version for existing and new customers in the next few weeks.
