Our CCO Lukas Sigel will support Stefan in the management of Friendly as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from March 1, 2025.
We congratulate Luke on this important step!
Luke is taking over important operational management tasks from our founder and CEO Stefan so that he can focus more on the strategic direction of Friendly.
During the first few weeks, Luke enabled Stefan to take a complete break for the first time since starting Friendly and to go on vacation for three weeks. A milestone for Stefan and for Friendly, which we as a whole team are very happy about.
Luke will retain his role as Chief Customer Officer and will continue to support our customers with his friendly manner and professional expertise.

To create capacity for the additional tasks, Luke has already temporarily increased his workload at Friendly from 50% to 60% since January.
And in recognition of his additional responsibilities as COO, we are increasing Luke’s salary from CHF 5,500 to CHF 5,750 gross (at 60%) as of March 1.
As of March 1, we have also added a new 20% position to the support team under his leadership – more information will follow.
