I took this as an opportunity to share their new employment contracts on LinkedIn. Here they are:
That’s actually no big deal for us. As the first and only Open Startup in Switzerland, we already published our employment contracts in August 2021, almost two years ago.
Even then, the reaction was remarkable – the post generated almost 70,000 views on LinkedIn and dozens of comments, some of them praising and some very critical.
This time, however, the post on the new employment contracts literally exploded. As of today, it has generated almost 900,000 views, almost 3,000 interactions and almost 600 comments:
But that was not all. One day later, one of Switzerland’s most widely read media outlets, Blick, picked up the story and reported on our contracts in a critical article.
When it was published, the article was even at the top of the Blick.ch homepage!
Another LinkedIn post of mine on the Blick article led to a further 83,000 views, 270 reactions and 50 comments.
In total, these two posts alone generated almost 1 million views on LinkedIn, plus the reach at Blick.
A large proportion of the readers, some of whom are delighted and some of whom are outraged, are probably not our target group. Nevertheless, it helps to make our brand better known. And our brand is the most valuable thing we have.
