Yes, we can import almost all historical data from Google Analytics into Friendly Analytics. Because this is a manual process, we only charge for our effort.

Can I use Friendly Analytics alongside Google Analytics?

Yes, you can integrate Friendly Analytics in parallel with Google Analytics – for example, to compare the numbers.

Can I track conversions for Google or Bing Ads with Friendly Analytics?

Yes, with our “Advertising Conversion Export” feature you can measure conversions for Google and Bing without having to have tracking codes from Google or Bing on your site! We submit conversions directly to Google and Bing via an API without disclosing any additional personal data. This is the most privacy-friendly way to measure your advertising conversions and optimize your campaigns.

Can I track native apps for iOS and Android?

Yes, you can track native apps with Friendly Analytics. You can use Matomo’s SDK to integrate it into your app. There are SDKs for iOS, Android and for all common programming languages.

Does Friendly Analytics support single-page apps (SPA) resp. progressive web apps?

Can I export data?

Yes. All collected data belongs to you. For users of our Standard and Professional plans, we can copy the data to another Matomo installation at any time. For Enterprise customers, we can even provide an export of the entire database. Because this is a manual process, we only charge for our effort.

Does Friendly Analytics have an API?

Yes, Friendly Analytics is based on Matomo and thus offers a comprehensive reporting API. You can also get a link for any report with a live export of the data and then plug it into e.g. reporting tools like Tableau or Metabase.
